Welcome to Make Your Predictions ("Make Your Predictions", "MYP", "we", "us", or "our").
Make Your Predictions provides a platform for users to make, share, discover, and evaluate predictions about events, topics, questions, and outcomes.
The Platform may provide features including:
User registration and authentication.
Personal and public user profiles.
Prediction creation and participation.
Private, contact-based, and public predictions.
Prediction feeds and discovery.
Prediction rankings and leaderboards.
Predictor Ratings and statistics.
Comments and threaded replies.
Reactions.
Question-and-answer functionality.
Contact lists.
Notifications.
Prediction sharing.
Rewards and badges.
Time-capsule or "Message for the Future" features.
Premium subscriptions and associated features.
Reporting, moderation, blocking, and appeals.
Administrative and community-safety features.
Not every feature is necessarily available to every user, in every location, or at every time. Features may also vary according to account type, subscription tier, eligibility, technical availability, or other applicable conditions.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, submitting a prediction, participating in a prediction, or otherwise interacting with the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
3. Eligibility and Age Requirements
The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, unless a different minimum age is required by applicable law or expressly stated by MYP.
By creating an account, you represent that you satisfy the applicable age requirement.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility.
If we reasonably believe that an account has been created or used by a person who does not satisfy the applicable age requirement, we may suspend or terminate the account and take other appropriate measures.
4. Your Account
Certain Platform features require an account. You may register using supported authentication methods, which may include email and password, Google authentication, GitHub authentication, or other methods introduced by MYP.
When creating an account, you may be required to provide:
Username.
Email address.
Password or authentication credentials.
Display name.
Other information necessary to establish and operate your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
You must not:
Create an account using false information.
Impersonate another person.
Impersonate an organization.
Use another person's account without authorization.
Create accounts for deceptive or abusive purposes.
Create multiple accounts to manipulate rankings or Platform functionality.
5. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials associated with your account.
You must take reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access.
If you believe that someone has obtained unauthorized access to your account, you must notify MYP promptly.
MYP may implement security measures including authentication controls, rate limiting, session controls, activity monitoring, and other safeguards.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and MYP does not guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur.
6. Email Verification
MYP may require users to verify their email address before accessing certain features.
Verification may involve a time-limited verification link or similar mechanism.
We may restrict certain functionality for accounts that remain unverified.
7. Passwords and Password Reset
Users may reset forgotten passwords through the supported password-reset process.
Password-reset links or tokens may expire after a limited period.
For security purposes, MYP may invalidate existing sessions after certain security-sensitive account changes, including password changes.
8. User Profiles
You may create and maintain a profile containing information such as:
Display name.
Username.
Profile photograph or avatar.
Biography.
Interests.
Social links.
Predictor Rating.
Statistics.
Badges.
Recent predictions.
Other information supported by the Platform.
Certain profile information may be visible to other users depending on your privacy and visibility settings.
9. Privacy and Visibility Settings
MYP may provide controls that allow users to manage aspects of their visibility and privacy.
Depending on the available settings, users may be able to control:
Profile visibility.
Searchability.
Leaderboard participation.
Contact-related functionality.
Messaging or interaction preferences.
Certain data-sharing preferences.
Advertising or personalization preferences.
Other privacy-related functionality.
Privacy settings do not necessarily override information that you have deliberately published publicly.
10. Predictions
Predictions are user-created or Platform-created questions, statements, or propositions concerning potential outcomes.
A prediction may contain:
Prediction text.
Category.
Subcategory.
Outcome type.
Possible outcomes.
End date.
Reasoning.
Visibility settings.
Participation information.
Other associated information.
Prediction types may include binary, multiple-outcome, or numeric predictions.
You are responsible for ensuring that predictions you create are understandable, lawful, and compliant with these Terms.
11. Prediction Visibility
Depending on Platform functionality, predictions may be:
Private.
Shared with selected contacts or contact lists.
Public.
Visibility may affect who can view and participate in a prediction.
Where the Platform allows a prediction's visibility to be increased from private to a broader audience, the change may be irreversible.
Once a prediction has been made public or otherwise broadly shared, you may lose the ability to return it to a more restrictive visibility level.
12. Creating Predictions
When creating a prediction, you may be required to confirm that you understand the consequences of submitting it.
Once submitted, a prediction may become subject to restrictions on editing, deletion, or visibility changes.
Private predictions may have greater editing or deletion flexibility than public or shared predictions.
MYP may restrict or reject predictions that violate these Terms, applicable law, moderation rules, or other Platform requirements.
13. Participating in Predictions
Users may participate in eligible predictions by selecting an available outcome.
Depending on the prediction and applicable account tier, participation may include:
Selecting an outcome.
Providing reasoning.
Providing a confidence level.
Submitting other information requested by the prediction.
A user generally may not participate in the same prediction more than once unless the Platform expressly permits otherwise.
Once submitted, participation may become locked and may contribute to your prediction history and performance statistics.
14. Prediction Locking
Certain predictions or participation records may become locked.
A locked prediction or participation record may not be editable or removable through normal user functionality.
Locking may occur because:
The prediction has been shared publicly.
The prediction has reached its deadline.
The prediction has already been resolved.
Participation has already been recorded.
The Platform's integrity requires the record to remain unchanged.
Another applicable restriction has been triggered.
15. Prediction Expiry
Predictions may have an end date or deadline. When the applicable deadline is reached, the prediction may automatically close.
Closed predictions generally cannot receive new participants.
MYP may use automated systems to identify and close expired predictions.
Participants may receive notifications when predictions close.
16. Prediction Resolution
After a prediction closes, the actual outcome may be determined through the Platform's resolution process.
Depending on the prediction, the outcome may be declared by:
The prediction creator.
An authorized administrator.
Another authorized party or mechanism supported by the Platform.
A resolution may include an explanation or rationale.
Where a prediction is ambiguous, disputed, improperly configured, or affected by an error, MYP may review or modify the resolution.
17. Prediction Disputes
Where enabled, users may dispute a prediction resolution. A dispute may be required to be submitted within 48 hours of the relevant resolution.
A dispute should explain the basis for the disagreement and, where appropriate, provide supporting information.
MYP or an authorized administrator may:
Uphold the original resolution.
Change the resolution.
Request additional information.
Take another action reasonably necessary to resolve the matter.
18. Prediction Results and Statistics
The Platform may calculate and display:
Correct predictions.
Incorrect predictions.
Total resolved predictions.
Success rates.
Category performance.
Prediction history.
Activity statistics.
Predictor Rating.
Leaderboard position.
Other performance metrics.
These metrics are calculated according to the Platform's current methodology. MYP may modify the methodology where reasonably necessary to correct errors, improve fairness, address abuse, or improve the Platform.
19. Predictor Rating
The Platform may calculate a Predictor Rating based on a user's resolved prediction performance.
Users may need at least five resolved predictions before qualifying for certain ranking or rating displays.
The Predictor Rating is a Platform metric and is not a professional certification, statement of expertise, guarantee of future accuracy, or assessment of a person's intelligence or competence.
20. Rankings and Leaderboards
MYP may operate leaderboards and rankings based on prediction performance.
Rankings may consider factors such as Predictor Rating, resolved predictions, activity, qualification requirements, or other Platform-defined metrics.
A user's leaderboard position may change as predictions are resolved or as other users' statistics change.
MYP may correct ranking errors, remove fraudulent activity, or otherwise adjust rankings where necessary to preserve Platform integrity.
21. Home Feed, Discovery, and Trending
The Platform may provide personalized and discovery-oriented feeds, including For You, Trending, Following, category-based discovery, and other recommendation or discovery features.
Feed ordering may consider:
Relevance.
User interests.
Activity.
Engagement.
Popularity.
Recency.
Followed users.
Categories.
Other Platform signals.
Feed placement does not constitute an endorsement by MYP of the accuracy of a prediction or the views of its creator.
22. Sharing Predictions
The Platform may allow users to share predictions through Platform links, social media links, generated social cards, or other sharing mechanisms.
Sharing a prediction may make it visible to people beyond its original audience.
Once content has been shared externally, MYP cannot control copies or cached versions maintained by third parties.
23. Contact Lists
The Platform may allow users to create contact lists and share predictions with selected contacts.
Users are responsible for using contact-management features lawfully and respectfully.
You must not use contact lists to:
Spam users.
Harass users.
Distribute unlawful material.
Collect information without authorization.
Circumvent Platform restrictions.
24. Comments and Replies
Users may be permitted to comment on predictions and participate in threaded discussions.
Where supported, comment threads may be limited in depth, comments may be editable only for a limited period, image attachments may be restricted by account tier, and comments may be reported, removed, or moderated.
You are responsible for the content of comments and replies you submit.
25. Reactions
The Platform may provide predefined reactions to predictions or other content.
A user may be limited to one active reaction of a particular type or another configuration determined by MYP.
MYP may remove fraudulent or manipulated engagement.
26. Q&A Community
The Platform may provide a question-and-answer feature where users can:
Ask questions.
Provide answers.
Upvote answers.
Mark an answer as the best answer.
Filter questions by category, status, or other criteria.
Q&A content is User Content and is subject to these Terms and applicable moderation rules.
27. User-Generated Content
"User Content" means any material submitted, posted, uploaded, transmitted, or otherwise made available by you through the Platform.
User Content includes:
Predictions.
Reasoning.
Comments.
Replies.
Questions.
Answers.
Profile information.
Photographs.
Social links.
Time-capsule messages.
Other content you submit.
28. License to User Content
By submitting User Content, you grant MYP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, distribute, adapt, format, and otherwise use the User Content as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the Platform.
This may include displaying predictions, profiles, rankings, statistics, social cards, and other Platform features.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and grant this license.
29. Content Standards
You must not submit User Content that:
Violates applicable law.
Infringes intellectual property rights.
Contains malicious code.
Contains unauthorized personal information.
Impersonates another person.
Contains credible threats.
Promotes violence or criminal activity.
Facilitates fraud.
Constitutes harassment.
Constitutes hateful or discriminatory abuse.
Exploits or sexualizes minors.
Contains unlawful sexual content.
Constitutes spam.
Deliberately manipulates Platform systems.
Attempts to deceive users.
Violates another person's privacy.
Otherwise violates these Terms.
30. Reporting, Blocking, Moderation, and Appeals
The Platform may allow users to report content or users they believe violate these Terms.
Reports may be reviewed through automated or human moderation systems.
Moderation actions may include:
Dismissing a report.
Warning a user.
Removing content.
Restricting functionality.
Suspending an account.
Terminating an account.
Escalating an issue.
Taking other appropriate measures.
Where supported, users affected by moderation may submit an appeal.
31. Automated Moderation
MYP may use automated systems, including keyword, pattern, behavioral, spam, or other detection mechanisms, to identify potentially problematic content or activity.
Automated systems may make mistakes. Where appropriate, users may have access to human review or an appeal mechanism.
32. Rewards and Badges
The Platform may provide badges, trophies, rewards, discounts, gift cards, or similar recognition for qualifying achievements.
Where rewards are offered:
Eligibility criteria may vary.
Reward availability may vary.
Rewards may be subject to additional terms.
MYP may require verification before awarding a reward.
Rewards may be withdrawn where obtained through fraud or manipulation.
Certain rewards may be supplied by third-party sponsors.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, participation in the Platform does not guarantee that you will receive any monetary or other reward.
33. Message for the Future
The Platform may provide a "Message for the Future" or time-capsule feature.
Such messages may:
Remain sealed until a specified date.
Be editable only before the unlock date.
Become visible after the unlock date.
Be included in a public gallery if the relevant visibility setting permits.
You are responsible for ensuring that messages comply with these Terms.
34. Premium Subscriptions
MYP may offer paid Premium subscriptions. Where Premium is available, the applicable checkout page will identify the subscription price, billing period, included features, applicable taxes where relevant, renewal terms, and cancellation terms.
Premium subscriptions may be offered on monthly and annual billing cycles and may automatically renew until cancelled unless otherwise stated during purchase.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers.
35. Premium Cancellation and Billing
Users may cancel Premium subscriptions through the available subscription-management functionality.
Unless otherwise stated, cancellation may take effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
Refund rights may vary depending on applicable consumer law, payment provider rules, purchase location, subscription terms, and the circumstances surrounding the request.
36. Third-Party Services
The Platform may rely on third-party services, including providers of authentication, hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, monitoring, payment processing, security, cloud infrastructure, and other technical services.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
37. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its original components are owned by or licensed to MYP.
This includes, where applicable:
Software and source code.
User interface and visual design.
Logos and trademarks.
Graphics.
Platform-created text.
Database structures.
Platform architecture.
Documentation.
Proprietary functionality.
38. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, feature requests, bug reports, or other feedback, you agree that MYP may use that feedback without restriction or compensation.
39. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
Violate any applicable law.
Access another user's account without authorization.
Attempt to bypass authentication or security.
Interfere with Platform infrastructure.
Introduce malware or malicious code.
Conduct unauthorized penetration testing.
Scrape the Platform using automated systems without authorization.
Use bots to manipulate rankings or engagement.
Create fraudulent accounts.
Manipulate predictions or prediction outcomes.
Artificially inflate reactions, followers, views, or other metrics.
Harass, threaten, or abuse users.
Impersonate another person or entity.
Distribute spam.
Collect user information without authorization.
Circumvent subscription or feature restrictions.
Reverse engineer proprietary functionality except where legally permitted.
Use the Platform to facilitate unlawful gambling or wagering.
Attempt to exploit Platform vulnerabilities.
40. Gambling, Betting, and Financial Activities
MYP is a prediction and ranking platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise by MYP and permitted by applicable law, the Platform is not intended to operate as a gambling service, betting service, wagering service, lottery, investment platform, or financial trading service.
Users must not arrange or facilitate unauthorized wagers between users through the Platform.
Predictions are not financial instruments, investments, or guarantees of future outcomes.
41. No Professional Advice
Content and information available through the Platform are provided for informational, educational, entertainment, and community purposes.
MYP does not provide investment, financial, legal, medical, tax, or other professional advice.
42. Accuracy and Reliability
MYP does not guarantee that information available through the Platform is accurate, complete, current, reliable, error-free, or uninterrupted.
Predictions may be based on opinions, assumptions, incomplete information, or uncertain future events.
43. Platform Availability
MYP may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any Platform feature.
The Platform may become unavailable because of maintenance, infrastructure failures, security incidents, network failures, third-party service outages, natural disasters, governmental actions, cyberattacks, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
44. Account Suspension and Termination
MYP may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where we reasonably believe that these Terms or applicable law have been violated, fraud has occurred, the account presents a security risk, the user has manipulated Platform functionality, or continued access creates material risk to MYP or other users.
45. Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
Access to the account may cease.
Access to Premium features may end.
Public profile functionality may be restricted.
Content may be removed, anonymized, or retained as permitted by law.
Certain information may be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legitimate operational purposes.
46. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how MYP collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information.
The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms by reference.
47. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Platform. However, no online service is completely secure.
48. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a statutory right or protection that cannot legally be excluded.
49. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MYP and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to use of or inability to use the Platform, prediction outcomes, ranking results, User Content, loss of data, account suspension, third-party services, service interruptions, unauthorized access, or reliance on Platform information.
50. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MYP and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your User Content, your misuse of the Platform, your violation of another person's rights, your violation of applicable law, or unauthorized activity associated with your account.
51. Changes to the Platform
MYP may introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue Platform features, including prediction functionality, ranking methodologies, scoring, feeds, notification systems, subscription features, rewards, and community features.
52. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we may provide notice through the Platform, email, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
53. Governing Law

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated into the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and MYP concerning your use of the Platform.
